ISOpen is designed to help you create a disk image from any of your CDs or DVDs, letting you back up program discs without breaking the file structure. This is useful because you may re-install software using the backup disc should the original become scratched, lost or otherwise. ISOpen will also let you burn those disc images to blank media with a clear and intuitive interface.

An ample variety of formats is supported for both images and music files, and you may also use the software to burn projects containing your own files. One feature that would give ISOpen a lot more appeal would be a drive emulator, something that allows you to test image files before actually burning them to CD / DVD. Unfortunately this isn’t included and if you want that functionality you must look elsewhere; Daemon Tools being our favorite.

Where ISOpen trips up is in the highly-restrictive shareware version that works for 30 days but apparently on a very limited level. For this reason we prefer the experience and reliability of MagicISO, a piece of software that does all the same jobs and some extra on top.

Burn all your image files to cd or dvd without preliminary conversion! ISOpen can burn your data CD and DVD, audio CD from your MP3, WAV, OGG, WMA. (TAO, DAO, SAO supported). All you need is a CD or DVD writer.

With ISOpen, you can convert of the majority of the format image CD ROM towards the ISO format, NRG or Bin/Cue. With ISOpen, You will be able to create ISO, Bin/Cue, NRG images of your CD, DVD. Create a backup image of all your CD or DVD.

With ISOpen, you can create your own images ISO, NRG, Bin/Cue image from files and directories of your hard disk. ISOpen will also enable you to create your AUDIO images CDROM from WAV, MP3, WMA, OGG vorbis. Can rip (grabber) audio CD to WAV or MP3 (cddb support), convert your audio files from/to WAV, MP3, OGG VORBIS, WMA.
